What is injection molding?
Plastic injection molding is a technique frequently used to manufacture a wide range of plastic parts. The molding method has existed for many years and is today one of the most commonly used methods for producing plastic products. The method is fast, efficient, and versatile. At the same time, it can produce a large number of identical products with high precision and consistency without becoming excessively costly.

How is plastic injection molding performed?
The method is performed by feeding a material into a screw and melting it using electric heating. Often, a material such as thermoplastic is used, but there are many other types of plastic materials that can also be used for this purpose. Once the plastic is melted, it is injected into the cavity of the mold to be used. Here it solidifies and takes the shape of the mold as it cools. The method seems simple, but to ensure quality and durability, it is a complex process that requires the right experience, skills, and, not least, high-quality equipment.
