Plastic production is not just plastic production
There are many different types of plastic on the market, making their production extensive and complex. There are also significant differences in what these various products can and should be used for. At FL Plast, we primarily focus on caps and lids of food-approved quality. We are certified according to FSSC 22000, an approved food safety standard based on ISO 22000 and recognized by the Food Initiative Global Safety (GFSI). Therefore, we can guarantee that our production meets the strict requirements of the food industry for food-approved plastic packaging.
Injection molding in our plastic production
Our plastic production is carried out using injection molding. This makes the process efficient, flexible, and adaptable to each individual project. It also means that a large number of identical products can be produced in a very short time once the process is underway.
Using a precise and detailed mold, everything from small components to larger plastic productions can be manufactured. The molding process involves heating the selected plastic material and injecting it into the mold cavity. As it cools, the molding material adapts to the mold’s details, resulting in an accurate reproduction of the chosen shape.
